Eli began his investment-banking career in 1982, working over the ensuing 18 years in Boston, Amsterdam, London and New York City. In 1992, Eli built a small Financial Planning practice with private clients, specializing in pre & post retirement planning. As a co-founding partner, Eli’s practice is focused on high net-worth individuals, small business owners, foundations and endowments.
Eli is frequently invited to lecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Kean University, and Rutgers University. In 2001, he was invited to be one of the keynote lecturers at the New Jersey State Conference of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).
Before becoming completely independent, Eli was recognized as the Top National Financial Advisor by his firm from 2002 to 2010. Eli is a multi-year winner of the Five Star Wealth Manager Award presented by Five Star Professionals.
As a part of his alumni activities, Eli mentors undergraduate and graduate students through Career Services Shadow Programs. He participates on the Finance and Investment Committees of the Jewish Community Center of Central New Jersey and the Congregation of Beth Israel of Scotch Plains. Eli holds degrees in Economics, specializing in International Macroeconomics, Econometrics, International Fixed Income, Swaps & Derivatives and Financial Planning. Additionally, he holds a Financial Planner Certification from New York University.
Eli and his wife Susan, have two children, Zachary and Jamie.
