Adam Bernstein is an ESG / Impact Analyst for Gitterman Asset Management and Gitterman Wealth Management, LLC. He is a core member of the firm’s SMART (Sustainability Metrics Applied to Risk Tolerance)® Investing Services team, which offers ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and climate-focused investment solutions to both individuals and financial professionals.
Adam specializes in building investment products and conducting sustainability research, macroeconomic forecasting, and ESG / climate-aware asset allocation programs for financial intermediaries. He often speaks on sustainability topics at investment conferences throughout the U.S., and has been published in several major financial publications, inducing Forbes, Barron’s, FA Magazine, MarketWatch, and several others.
Adam began his career at Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth and Investment Management Division and AllianceBernstein’s Thematic Portfolio Desk. He holds a BSBA in Finance from Elon University, where he also received a CFA Institute recognition scholarship, and a Master’s Degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
